Lennon would close off part one with this rather dark tune. This album is usually shaping up to be always a bit significant isn't it? Yes. I believe it would actually fit properly ast he last Beatles album as it has that sort of feeling to it.

There's a feeling of seriousness about these tracks and it's really amplified by putting them one following the other such as this. 9 "Mother" - Lennon. This would probably have sounded a lot different as a Beatles track but I think it could have held it's darkness while possibly adding a bit more interest to it musically (again I'm thinking of McCartney on bass). 10 "I THEN FOUND OUT" - Lennon. This melody rocks quite hard on Plastic material Ono Band but I think it could have already been even more musically interesting as a Beatles tune with Paul's bass and George's lead guitar licks. 11 "EVERYTHING Must Pass" - Harrison. click here to investigate 've always thought this was a brilliant melody. I prefer the even more stripped down Anthology edition on the more orchestrated edition on the album that's name after it. 12 "Teddy Boy" - McCartney (Ringo on Vocals). I have no idea if this would actually work, nevertheless, you know Ringo would need to consider vocals on a melody and it looks like maybe he could pull this off, maybe with a lot of help from Paul. 13 "I'd PERHAPS YOU HAVE Anytime" - Harrison.

The guitar we have now all know and love as the Gibson SG debuted itself in 1961 as a Gibson Les Paul. So in fact, the SG was often a signature series guitar. But we don't find this type of thinking so useful today. In fact, Les Paul himself did not want his name on your guitar which became known as the Gibson SG. Besides being truly a masterful guitarist who performed stone music before the term had been invented, Les Paul the man, was a man who knew a whole lot about a lot, and had strong opinions as any man could have. He quite enjoyed the initial Gibson Les Paul guitars, and in time, he'd become vindicated as being correct about the originals. But Les Felt the new guitar, the one which became the SG, was too fragile. All great guitars are relatively fragile, but Les Paul was alarmed by the throat of the 1961 version.
